I was not expecting this. It was a 100+ degree day in Jakarta, Indonesia, and I was on the verge of heat stroke. I gave a street vendor my money and reached into her ice box and pulled out an iced-tea. I needed liquid.
Little did I know, this was no normal iced tea. I had no idea this tea would be the best (bottled) I’d ever tasted in my life. The secret ingredient: jasmine. The jasmine makes it amazing. Not too sweet, very refreshing, and such a very unique and pleasant taste; Pucuk Harum is amazing!
I’m not sure which countries, besides Indonesia, that Pucuk Harum is available in–but I’m on a mission to find it again. Such a sweet surprise in my mouth! If you visit Indonesia, you must try this tasty treat!
