Zürich, Switzerland – Drahtschmidlisteg Bridge / Limmat River
I really fell in love with Switzerland. My most memorable experience there was jumping off a bridge into the Limmat River with the locals.
Europe was having an extreme heat wave this week. And that particular day was the hottest of the year so far in Zürich. I had just checked into my hotel and was off for a walk to explore when I came upon a bridge that dozens of people were jumping off of–into the cool river water below. I didn’t even think twice about joining them. Shirt off, and in I went! So did my iPhone. I managed to snap a selfie before my phone died a quick death…the most expensive selfie I have ever taken…but worth every penny.
